Broken Pieces is an action-packed investigative and adventure video game developed by Elseware Experience. It is set in France and immerses you in the shoes of Elise, a woman in her thirties stuck in a time loop, alone, following an unexplained paranormal phenomenon. The game features a camera system revised for more flexibility, challenging enemies, and a unique combat system.

The game takes place in the village of Saint-Exil, an imaginary region reminiscent of Brittany. As Elise, you must investigate the strange phenomena happening in the region, unravel the mysteries surrounding the ritualistic cult, and the lighthouse overlooking the coast. The game features a deep environmental narrative that you can discover through easy-to-listen audio cassettes and environmental puzzles that you can solve by shifting time.
